The cross bars and the side rails are for the 2014 Mazda CX-5. Thought I would clarify that first. Don't bother getting these from the dealer...just save yourself the little cash that you do save buying it on Amazon. Installation shouldn't scare you as well. It's quite easy and only took me 40 minutes. It comes with very easy directions, and all you need to do is convert mm to inches to get the right cuts on the weather stripping because you will be reusing some parts of it that are not covered by the side rails. It says use a saw or some special cutting tool, but I just took a pair of dikes to the stripping after measuring them and it worked out as if it was factory installed. At first I was worried about getting the EXACT cut, but you DO have a good amount of room for error when making the cuts...so don't worry so much and just try to get as close as possible to being correct...when you convert the mm to inches and it says 38.5876 inches.. just make it 39 and you will be fine. Making the cuts a bit longer will help instead of shorter and you're stuck. When installed the bars are solid and I rocked the entire car and they don't budge. Everything should and can easily be hand tightened. If you are looking for a cheaper roof box than the ones that are $400-$700...Thule makes one for SportRack: SportRack SR7018 Vista XL Rear Opening Cargo Box, 18-Cubic Feet, Black and it barely fit with NO room for anything extra.
