Story time. I purchased and installed this kit on my 2009 Yamaha V-Star 950. The kit does not come with any supports to prevent it from just hanging off the throttle body. Upon installation, I saw a great increase in power and performance in my bike. However, the weight of the kit without a supporting bracket was enough to damage my intake manifold. I've had to replace the intake manifold on the bike. Once that work is done, I do intend of reinstalling the kit. I have contacted the original manufacturer to see if they would supply me with a set of metal supports, as other models of this Big Air Kit do come with metal supporting arms. Otherwise, I will fabricate my own or revert to the stock kit.
